Nice to meet you, I'm Maddie :)

I'm a current student at the University of Michigan School of Information pursuing an accelerated master's degree in UX Research & Design.

I began undergrad studying architecture but after taking courses in Information Science, I realized I connect more with digital design rather than physical design. While I'm now working with information architecture, I still aim to positively shape people's experiences through design. 

 

I get excited about working through complex problems and find myself moved by the conversation around building ethically responsible technology. I'm interested in designing solutions that not only support but prioritize users' needs and overall well-being. Along with making systems more humane, I strive to create interfaces that are impactful, elegant, intuitive, and enjoyable.​
